The cost of a marine survey can vary considerably for many reasons. It may take a lot longer to conduct the survey and write the report for a 15 year old boat that has been badly neglected compared to a newer boat in pristine condition. Other variables are the type of survey, the type of vessel, the materials used in construction, and where it is located.
